WatchUnderstanding Water Loss Claims: A Homeowner's Case StudyG3 is based in Argyle, TX, right in the middle of Denton County. These are our neighborhoods, our schools and our neighbors. When water damages a home here, we want families to have a local team they can trust to dry it out, rebuild it right and tell them the truth along the way.
Here's what water damage restoration looks like with us.
What Kind of Water Damage Do We See in Denton County?
North Texas homes face a mix of water risks:
- Frozen and burst pipes during hard freezes, especially attic and exterior-wall lines
- Water heater failures in garages, closets and attics
- Appliance leaks from washers, dishwashers, fridges and ice makers
- AC condensate overflows in hot attics during long summers
- Roof leaks after hail and wind
- Slab leaks, made more likely by our expansive clay soils
- Drainage issues that send water toward foundations
- Sewer backups, which bring contaminated water
How Does the Process Work?
1. Call. You call (945) 300-9018. We'll ask what happened, whether the water is stopped and what's affected, and tell you what to do while you wait.
2. Mitigation. CMDR Restoration, our mitigation partner (licensed by TDLR, RCO #1801), arrives to make the area safe, extract water, map moisture with meters and thermal cameras, remove what can't be dried and set up structural drying.
3. Monitoring. CMDR returns to take and log readings until the structure is dry. On larger losses, a licensed indoor environmental professional may write a protocol and test for clearance.
4. Rebuild. G3 takes the mitigation records and rebuilds: drywall, insulation, trim, cabinets, flooring, paint and more.
5. Walkthrough. We walk the finished work with you. Our rebuild work carries a 1-year workmanship warranty.
Why Choose a Local Team?
- We know the houses. Two-story homes with attic plumbing, slab foundations and clay soils are what we work on every day.
- We're nearby. Argyle, TX is home.
- We'll be here later. If you have a question next year, you can call the same people.
- Our reputation lives here. Your neighbors know us. Read what they say on our reviews page.
What Makes G3 Knows Different?
One team from wet to finished. CMDR and G3 are separately licensed companies that work hand in hand. Read mitigation and rebuild with one team for why that matters.
We follow the standards. IICRC standards, including flood cuts at least 18 inches above where moisture was found, typically at 2 feet. Proper documentation from start to finish.
We don't hard sell. We show you the readings and photos and let you decide.
We're a lot more than a water company. G3 does roofing, remodels, windows and fire restoration. If the leak came from the roof or you want to upgrade the kitchen while it's opened up, we can do that.
What Affects the Cost of Water Damage Restoration?
Every loss is different, so we won't guess on a blog. Cost depends on the water category, how far it traveled, how long it sat, what materials are involved and what has to be rebuilt. After we see your home, you'll get a written scope so you know what's involved.
What About Insurance?
We're your contractor. We inspect, document and rebuild. We don't negotiate or adjust claims, and we don't interpret your policy. If you have questions about coverage, talk with your carrier or agent.
What Should I Do Before We Arrive?
- Shut off the main water.
- Turn off power to wet rooms if you can do it safely.
- Stay out from under sagging ceilings.
- Take photos and video.
- Move valuables to a dry area.
