What Our Customers Say

If you're looking for a roofing company that's 100% in your corner, G3 Roofing and Construction is the real deal.

After a major hailstorm passed over our house in Lantana, our insurance company was prepared to do the bare minimum rather than cover the full extent of the damage. That's where Matt and G3 stepped in. Matt knows the insurance process inside and out, and he wasn't afraid to go to bat for us. He challenged the insurance company's assessment, fought for what was right, and WON. That alone earned my respect.

But here's what really sets G3 apart: They stand behind their work, long after the job is done.

About five years before working with G3, we had another hailstorm that required a complete roof replacement. We hired a different roofing company for that job. Later, when we needed a simple roof inspection and literally TWO OR THREE shingles replaced on the roof they had installed, they charged us $1,500. Yes, $1,500 for a handful of shingles and an hour of their time. Not an exaggeration!

Fast forward to our experience with Matt and G3. We've had storms come through since they replaced our roof, and Matt has been more than willing to come back to our home, inspect things, and make sure everything is holding up. No nickel-and-diming. No ridiculous service charges. Just someone who stands behind his work and takes care of his customers.

Having now gone through two complete roof replacements with two different companies, I can tell you firsthand that not all roofing contractors are created equal.

What I've come to appreciate most about Matt is that he treats us like customers he wants to keep for life, not just another roofing job. He's responsive, follows through, and genuinely seems to care that we're taken care of.

I'd trust Matt and G3 with just about any construction project at this point. They have integrity, they know their business, and they genuinely look out for their customers.

In an industry where some contractors seem more interested in making a quick buck than building lasting relationships, G3 is a refreshing exception.

Five stars. Without hesitation.

I used G3 Lawn & Landscaping to clean out my flower beds. They did a fantastic job. I plan to use them for all of my lawn maintenance needs. They were nice to work with and were very diligent with their work.

G3 did an excellent job putting in a rock barrier between my foundation and a newly poured concrete path. They also added some slope up to the walkway with sod and it looks great. Excellent communication throughout the project from quote to completion. Very personable and professional people who I would recommend for any of your outdoor landscaping projects!

Hayden at G3 came through, when others could not. I am a Realtor and needed to get a new listing landscaped, prior to scheduling the media session! Fantastic work ethic, responsive and honest.

G3 is great to work with. Anytime I have a customer that needs restoration services or water damage mitigation I send them to G3. With G3, I know my customers will be taken care of by professionals who truly care about the homes they repair.

Matt & his company G3 Construction took care of our complete lower level renovation after water damage from a busted pipe. The damage & subsequent work were both extensive. My husband & I and our 2 pets were out of our home of 25 years for 4 and a half months. At the time, my husband’s health was compromised, making the situation even more challenging for us. Throughout the process of tear out and renovation, Matt & his team of contractors & subcontractors took great care of redoing everything that was damaged. We are very happy with the end results of G3’s work, and we are enjoying our home again! The quality and workmanship, as well as good communications throughout, are some reasons we recommend G3 Construction.

G3 Roofing and Construction did an outstanding job replacing our roof! From start to finish, the process was handled with professionalism and care thanks to the exemplary leadership and communication from Matt Alva and Rick Thompson. They went above and beyond to guide us through every step, especially navigating all communications with the insurance company. Their responsiveness and attention to detail truly set them apart. Highly recommend G3 Roofing and Construction for anyone looking for quality work and exceptional customer service!

Are you nervous about finding a roofing company to complete your repair project? We definitely were after our home had hail damage. We chose G3, and overall we had a really good experience. Like most roofing projects, there were bumps along the way, but what mattered most to us was how those moments were handled. G3 listened to our concerns, were solidly engaged, and worked with us until everything was resolved. We never felt ignored or rushed. Amazing team to work with! The roof looks beyond amazing, the work was completed as promised, and we are so confident in the final result. G3 showed professionalism and a willingness to listen to our concerns-were so helpful as we navigated insurance conversations—and that goes a long way. We’d recommend them to anyone navigating storm-related roof repairs.

We recently hired G3 Roofing & Construction LLC to replace our roof and windows, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Matt Alva, the owner, and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to quality. From start to finish, communication was clear and timely, and the team worked efficiently while respecting our home. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend G3 Roofing & Construction for anyone looking for reliable and skilled roofing and window services.

Reliable, fast, and professional—our new roof looks incredible. Excellent communication, quality workmanship, and a stress-free experience. Highly recommend this roofing company!

Wow!! Thank you very much to Matt and his team for our recent roof repair!! Our roof starting leaking and we were unsure of the problem. Matt was referred to us by a friend and his team did an excellent job with our repair. They were very fast and professional and we are so happy with the repair. Thank you all!! We would definitely recommend G3 Roofing!

My husband and I are over the moon with the results of the reconstruction of our home. Matt Alva has hired the most professional people in the field including our main contractor JD. There is not a single thing they missed to making our home more perfect than it was originally. I will forever sing their praises. Thankful my daughter heard about G3 and gave such a good recommendation. I know God sent us G3! They walked us through each step with such respect! Thank you Matt Alva and JD.

Forever blessed and thankful!

Carey and Debbie

We’ve used G3 twice now, once for a hail roof replacement and again after we were hit by a EF 3 tornado. Matt is a great GC and knows how to assist you through the process with your insurance company. Highly recommend Matt and G3!

Matt, Rick and team are the real deal! They were meticulous in their evaluation and use the best materials. Their work on our house was impeccable! Couldn’t recommend G3 more!

Fantastic work. Great communications. Always over-delivers.

I am a loyal customer and committed advocate of G3 Construction DFW. And why would I be? There are so many reasons, let me try to list just a few. Since being introduced to their team, from the top down through the project manager to the subcontractors, I have only received the best service I have ever received from a General Contractor in my life! And there have been many, plus my family was in the home improvement business. I will not ever need to hunt for a GC again! If you'd like to know more, keep reading...

After interviewing contractors for a slab leak I had a few years ago which affected my Master bathroom, bedroom and connected flooring, so many turned away, because they didn't want to deal with the complications that insurance "might" bring. My friend told me about G3, so I gave them a shot! This kind of thing was right up their alley, because their expertise goes far beyond knowing how to paint, replace floors, lay tile or build out a bathroom or kitchen. They have the whole package! They have expertise and a team member for every facet of ANY project. Through every step of the way, Matt Alva and his team were there to help lead us, explain, coordinate, go to bat with insurance, and help us navigate the ridiculous intricacies that dealing with an insurance company can be. With Matt's extensive background and credentials he has a unique insight and knowledge of navigating the processes, no matter if there is insurance involved or not. Their Project Manager, JD, was always there for me with answers to my neverending questions. I would say my project had more than the usual unforeseen complications, as things don't always go as planned, do they ever? But every hurdle was dealt with head on with efficiency in spite of the normal headaches that can usually happen in any remodel job. Their communication was excellent, their work from every team member was impeccable. Their plumber spent countless hours at my home perfecting every detail. Trinity Flooring worked endlessly to make sure my strange ideas were implemented with precision. There were so many others who made my project vision a reality. Was everything perfect? Absolutely not! Was every imperfection or hurdle jumped or corrected? Absolutely yes! It's not only the work that is completed, it's having a positive experience of the process it takes to get to the finish line!

I also recently had which roof damage which my insurance at first denied. G3 Construction DFW worked with me to get the proper documentation and personnel in place to work with the insurance company to put an acceptable plan in place. The job was completed without even a hiccup! The finished roof is absolutely beautiful, and the additional design suggestions they made created a beautiful upgrade to my home!

I couldn't be happier with the amazing work that G3 Construction has provided my family with the highest of integrity, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to navigate the toughest of projects! They also treat you like family, and I'm so glad to have them on MY team!❤️

Matt Alva and his entire crew at G3 Roofing & Construction are nothing but excellent!! The quality of professionalism, knowledge, execution, customer service, and care they provide is unmatched. We had a horrible water slab leak that ruined our entire downstairs. It was devastating on its own but insurance companies are even worse when it comes to approval and payment. Matt took care of dealing with the insurance company and JD, his foreman, took care of all the work. They worked with me to get upgrades and really go above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. As if that wasn’t enough, the quality of work is exceptional!! Love my renovation and the ease with which G3 took over all aspects and left me stress free. Walls had to be taken down for the drying process and restoration, all flooring had to be removed and redone, all walls, baseboards and accent wood framing had to be painted going all the way to the 2nd floor due to open concept of our home, new fans and chandeliers and much more. They did it all perfectly synchronized.

Good general contractors are far and few between so when I find a good one, let alone an exceptional one, they're a keeper and why i have recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors whom have experienced the same high quality, exceptional work, and over satisfaction as I have, And when my roof, gutters, windows got damaged by hail, G3 to the rescue again for beautiful work.

Thank you Matt, G3!!! See you at the next remodel.

Matt and his team were amazing. They made a stressful situation feel easy. They went above and beyond, and their work was top-notch. So thankful we were referred to G3!!

G3 demonstrated professionalism and integrity at every level of the process of getting a new roof. They helped us navigate the arcane practices of our insurance company and installed an amazing new roof in short order. We feel fortunate to have experienced this level of expertise and courtesy in today’s business climate.

We recently had our very first experience filing a homeowner’s insurance claim, and to be honest, we didn’t know what to expect. From the very beginning, G3 Roofing and Construction made the process so much easier than we ever imagined. Rick and Matt were absolutely fantastic to work with. They took the time to explain everything clearly, walked us through each step, and were always available to answer our questions. They truly made what could have been a stressful situation feel simple and stress-free.

The work itself was top-notch. Our project included a complete roof replacement, repairing and replacing some damaged wood trim, and staining both our fence and garage doors. Everything turned out beautifully. The attention to detail, quality of the work, and the care they showed for our home were all outstanding. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

What stood out the most to us, though, was how personable and genuine Rick and Matt were throughout the process. It never felt like we were "just another job." They treated us with respect, kept us informed, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the entire experience.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the help and guidance they gave us through our first insurance claim, and we honestly can’t recommend G3 Roofing and Construction enough. If you ever need roof or exterior work done, especially if you’re unsure about the process, do yourself a favor and call Rick and Matt. They’ll take great care of you—we know from experience!

Man where do I even start with how great there service was. First of all the manager Jd was excellent. He made sure we were satisfied with the work throughout the whole project, and kept us in the loop consistently. Matt was great with dealing with the insurance. Juan on the demo team was amazing, and was very thorough with his work. I would recommend them to anyone looking for water leaks and mold restoration. I thought my house was a goner, but they restored it to tip top shape. 10/10 everything.

Very fast response and amazing work. The team was timely, efficient and professional. They assisted me with our homeowners insurance — making sure our claim covered the project. I highly recommend G3.

If you are looking for a company who will work tirelessly to professionally and beautifully repair damage to your home, you can find no better company than G3. They helped walk me through my part of a complicated insurance claim and then took over the headache of dealing with the insurance, city, and all that went into the repairs. They took time to educate me on the repair process, the materials they would use, and how they would be able to help me. I had peace of mind that my most valuable asset, my home, was not only being restored correctly but that the work they did would add value to the property for years to come. When they were done with the roof, gutters, fence, awning, garage and other doors, and even trim and screens, my house looked amazing——better than before! One of the things they said was they look to add value where they can to every project. In my case, they upgraded the gutters and downspouts and used an impact three resistant roof shingle (which is saving me a lot on my insurance premiums) at no additional cost to me. They left my property, landscaping, and yard in immaculate condition at the conclusion of the job. Inside, we had several nail pops on upstairs ceilings (not an unexpected consequence of having a new roof put on) They hired an amazing painting contractor to fix the damage. I was so happy with the painters that I hired them to do other, unrelated painting around my house.

It took many months to get my home completed—not because of the amount of work that was needed but mostly due to insurance and other delays that were out of our hands. Matt Alva and JD Swenson, the owners, personally kept me updated along the way. They are two of the most professional, qualified, and knowledgeable contractors I have ever worked with. Even though it was stressful to me to be faced with delays and complications, they always helped ease the anxiety and worry. I am confident we were all relieved when the project and payments were finally completed though!

I hired G3 Roofing and Construction to fix extensive hail damage after receiving recommendations from a few friends, a neighbor, and even a realtor who all had used G3. Seeing the work G3 did on these peoples’ homes spoke for itself too because the houses looked impressive with the upgraded gutters and shingles (I think that might be one of G3s signature upgrades!) Many of these homes were worth multiple times my home so I am sure you will be well taken care of no matter the size of your house!

The three G’s in G3 officially stand for Grateful, Generous, and Good…all of which describe this company and their work. But the 3 G’s could also stand for Gritty, Gracious, and Grounded. I don’t think there is a job that would be too complicated or a situation that would be too difficult for G3 to overcome because they are all of these things too.

If you made it this far…stop reading reviews and hire G3 to get your life back in order!

I can’t praise G3 Roofing & Construction enough! After a storm caused the aluminum trim on my house’s siding to completely detach, I reached out to several roofing companies for quotes to replace it. G3 was the only company that came out, inspected the damage, and provided me with a reasonable quote. Their team was courteous and consistently responsive to my inquiries and concerns. They truly went above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful for their exceptional service.
