Flower Mound is home. We're based next door in Argyle, TX, and we know the houses here: two-story homes with plumbing in the attic, lots of slab foundations, beautiful hardwood and tile, and garages that turn into icebox territory when a front blows through.

When water shows up where it shouldn't, you need people who'll get it out, dry it right and then actually put your home back together. That's what we do.

Who Handles Emergency Water Removal in Flower Mound?

CMDR Restoration, the mitigation partner in the G3 Knows family, is licensed by TDLR (RCO #1801). CMDR handles emergency water removal and drying. G3 Roofing and Construction, a licensed general contractor, handles the rebuild. They're separate, licensed companies that work hand in hand, so your mitigation crew and your rebuild team are already on the same page.

We're Licensed & Insured, and we'll be straight with you about what we see.

What Does Emergency Water Removal Include?

  • Making it safe. Confirming the source is stopped, checking for electrical hazards and sagging ceilings.
  • Extraction. Removing standing water from carpet, tile, hardwood and subfloor with professional extraction equipment.
  • Moisture mapping. Using meters and thermal cameras to see where water traveled, including behind walls and under cabinets.
  • Selective removal. Taking out what can't be dried, with flood cuts at or above IICRC guidance.
  • Structural drying. Air movers and dehumidifiers, placed according to the moisture map.
  • Monitoring and documentation. Logged readings, photos and a clear record of what was removed.

What Kinds of Water Losses Do We Handle?

  • Burst pipes, especially after hard freezes
  • Water heater failures in garages and closets
  • Washer, dishwasher, refrigerator and ice maker line leaks
  • Toilet and shower overflows
  • Slab leaks that have reached flooring
  • Roof leaks and storm water intrusion
  • AC condensate overflows in attics

For contaminated water like sewer backups, the approach changes, including protective equipment and more removal. We'll explain what that means for your home.

What Makes G3 Knows Different?

One team from wet to finished. Most homeowners have to hire a mitigation company, then go find a contractor, and then play telephone between them. With us, the photos, moisture logs and scope of what was removed go straight to the rebuild team.

We don't cut corners on mitigation. Matthew has seen too many houses where the first mitigation was done halfway and the family had to start over. We'd rather do it right the first time.

We're more than a water company. G3 does roofing, remodels, windows and fire restoration too. If the leak came from the roof, or you want to change the kitchen while it's opened up, we can handle that.

We're local. We're based in Argyle, TX and serve Flower Mound and the surrounding area. This is our community.

What Will You Tell Me on the First Visit?

The truth, plainly. We'll show you the moisture readings and photos, explain what we think needs to come out and why, and tell you what we don't know yet. Water losses can reveal more once walls are opened, and if that happens we'll show you that too. We don't hard sell. We'd rather you understand your house than feel rushed into a decision. If it turns out you only need a plumber and a fan, we'll tell you that.

What Should I Do Before We Arrive?

  1. Shut off the main water valve.
  2. Turn off power to wet rooms at the breaker if you can do it safely.
  3. Keep people and pets out from under wet ceilings.
  4. Take photos and video of everything.
  5. Move valuables and electronics out of the water.

What Happens After the House Is Dry?

G3 rebuilds: drywall, insulation, baseboards, cabinets, flooring, paint and trim. We give you a written scope, keep you posted and back our work with a 1-year workmanship warranty. Learn more on our water damage page, or read what neighbors say on our reviews page.
